Inconvenient...

I have recently seen "An Inconvenient Truth", the docu-movie with Al Gore. It struck me to the core and if you have not seen it yet, what in the heck are you waiting for?

How inconvenient for the oil consuming population of our planet that we must find other ways of sustaining ourselves. Al Gore is charming, witty, and passionate about the crisis of climate change. He paints a vivid picture of what is about to happen if we, all of us, do not take some responsibility for reversing the damage that we have done to our planet. It is frightening, how in a just a few decades we have managed to increase global warming to the crisis point.

However, Mr. Gore does not scare us to death and then tell us that it is too late. There is hope. But, it means getting off our butts and doing something about it. I already recycle, take public transit, conserve water, turn down the heat in winter through a programmable thermostat. There are many other easy ways you can make a difference too.

Go see the movie or at the very least visit this website and read about it. Then tell your friends and family to do the same.

See... already I have made a difference.... right????
