Hi JB,
Oh yeah, I am SO excited! We leave very early tomorrow morning and then get to Africa about 24 hours later. All I have left to do is pack (and probably unpack and repack again) and I have my last shot today too (Hep A/B). I have bought a lot of 'thrift' store clothing as I have to pack for two seasons, winter for the mountain and HOT for the rest. So I plan to leave the winter stuff there for the porters and I don't mind doing that when I only spent $3 or $4 on a pair of pants or a fleece sweater.
I am going to miss my cats, and I know Percy, the orange tabby is going to miss me, he is such a big suck. However, I have a wonderful person who going to live here and take beautiful care of them so I can go without any worries at all :-)
I hope your "pickle" is feeling better, those cones are horrible for them.
