The Blues...

forlorn wet kitty

"Thy fate is the common fate of all; Into each life some rain must fall." Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I know I should be excited, and I am, but here I am, nine days from leaving the country for almost two months and for the second time in less than a month, I have no house/kitty-cat sitter. Just when I think I have it all worked out, something comes up in someone else's life and I have to start from square one all over again. (I understand totally, but that doesn't change the anxious knot in the pit of my stomach or the prediciment I am in once again).

I am trying hard not to panic, but if I can't find a replacement I do not know what I will do. I will be heartbroken if I have to cancel this trip. Not only will I lose a lot of money, but when will I ever do this again?

I am one of those people who believe that everything happens for a reason, but for the life of me I can't figure this one out.

I will keep you posted, I have one more person to try and after that I am S.O.L.

You are so not SOL, my friend. I will move in before you cancel anything!
